Resume:
Accounting firm seeking a permanent full-time position for staff accountant with at least to years of firm experience.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing individual and business tax returns of varying complexity.
- Working closely with clients
- Generating financial statements as required
We are looking for a candidate:
- Positive attitude
- Is a self-starter
- Is detail oriented
- Has experience with QuickBooks, Windows excel and word
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with tax research is a plus
- Experience handling IRS and state notices is a plus
- Able to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
- CPA a plus
