Job Description (JD) includes managing Operational assignments/activities of branches but not limited to under mentioned activities as Bank’s Management may entrusted, to investigate/enquiries like complaints resolutions, fraud investigation and implementation of upgraded version of CBS at branches etc.

 

Responsibilities & Key Achievements:-

 

  • Leading administration, processing and operations in the Department and ensuring  high level of operational efficiency and accuracy, and complying with regulatory guidelines and requirements 

 

  • Review and continuously fine-tune all existing operational SOPs and incorporate changes, where necessary, to reflect proper control and regulatory requirement are in place

 

  • Ensuring relevant risk control and internal operations control for  timely reviewing  and suspicion/incidents timely reporting

 

  • Monitor the proper status of all activities in the Department and prepare regular and ad hoc management report for review

  • Close coordination with respective Branch Operations Managers to monitor the pre/post internal/external audit remedial action plans

 

  • Close contact with respective Branch Operations Managers to achieve full compliance of Prudential Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures and relevant Policies

 

  • Establish and develop effective working relationship between Branches and other supporting units of the Bank.
  • To visit assigned Branches and ensure Operational requirements are being meticulously followed. Any non-compliance observed should be communicated to the respective Branch Management with a deadline for rectification and onward confirmation

 

  • Highlight training needs for Branch(es) Operations staff

 

  • Maintain a list of potential candidate within the Bank for Operations Managers to fill vacant positions

 

  • Monitoring of process efficiencies in Branches and identify process improvements on an ongoing basis
