· Assist families to access immediate, quality and affordable child care as they move through their Welfare-to-Work (WtW) activities towards employment and self-sufficiency
· Assist families to have child care that is stable enough to move off cash assistance. The program is administered by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) and California Department of Education (CDE). There are three “Stages” of CalWORKs child care (see below for descriptions).

- Monitor caseloads and terminations to ensure enrollment flow consistent with expenditure projections; prepare and submit reports
