State of North Carolina-Disability Determination Services   March -February

Disability Determination Specialist

Responsible for the proper adjudication of federal Social Security disability and state Medicaid claims. This included requesting and reviewing claimant medical records on dual computer screens, summarization of said records, ordering specific medical exams for the claim, consultation with in-house medical professionals, and determination using Social Security rulings and regulations. Customer service heavy position utilizing telephones to talk with claimants daily. Position also relied heavily on computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.

Responsibilities include answering the telephone, utilizing necessary computer applications to make reservations for guests, using computer to check a guest into the hotel and check out, making sure the guest was comfortable, preparing food, coffee, alcoholic beverages, taking menu orders for restaurant and food delivery to tables. Location Manager Raleigh-Durham Airport

Was entrusted to run the airport location during the evening shift. Supervised a team of - team members ranging from guest service representatives, car cleaners, gate keepers, and bus drivers. Worked alone as the only manager and represented the company in the best light possible. Assisted customers to find the best vehicle for their needs, helped at the counter to rent vehicles, assisted the gate keepers, cleaned cars, and made sure the location ran smoothly. At the end of the shift I took inventory of more than vehicles, ran audits, cleaned, and made sure the location was ready for business the following day. I worked hour shifts in all weather conditions.
