EMPLOYMENT HISTORY L-3 COMMUNICATIONS VERTEX - Corpus Christi Naval Air station, TX
Production Coordinator November 2010 – July2015 As a Production Coordinator I was assigned to several duties depending on the department I was assigned. Below are Highlights of my work. I worked with the Quality Assurance Division to ensure that all Critical Safety Items met Quality standards, as well as attending Critical Safety meetings to ensure all new safety processes were in compliance with the Quality Standards. I researched and validated all incoming maintenance engineering orders for accuracy. I provided management planning, direction, coordination and overview to employees engaged in performing tasks to meet deadlines. I prepared and analyzed reports; conducted surveys, reviews, projects and audits. Provided analytical input for the development of new standard procedures. I’ve created, researched, modified, and maintained documents in DEXS II. Worked with multiple departments to resolve any issues with repair cycle time and program routes. When necessary I reviewed bill of material and routes. I would create daily operational status reports for all work center supervisors; work with program managers on corrective action for production schedule and conduct daily production reviews with shop personnel to identify any issues that may cause a delay or change to the schedule. I would then modify released production orders as necessary to maintain LMP records against actual progress on manufacturing floor and review production orders with Master Scheduler and any others involved in the delay of the production order.
Supply Technician- April 2010 – November 2010 I received stored, and issued equipment, materials, supplies, and tools. Compiled stock records of items in warehouse filled orders and compiled reports on use of stock handling equipment. I would mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, distributed stock among production workers, keep records of material issued, and occasionally make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock to fill order.
DeDietrich Process Systems, Corpus Christi, TX During my time with DeDietrich I held several positions. I initially held the job title as a Helper and was given promotions due to my hard work and my desire to grow with the company. Below is a list of positions I held and daily tasks I performed. Receiving Coordinator July 2009 – March 2010 As lead receiving coordinator everything that entered the facility had to be inspected and passed through me. Pressure vessels were manufactured by us, parts received would range from 20ft 3” thick pipe to 20ton carbon steel cylinders. Parts were frequently scheduled to be shipped to and from overseas. On a daily basis I used an overhead 50ton bridge crane, scissor lifts, 25,000lbs forklifts, and a 75,000lbs Hyster tractor forklift. I would unload items to designated areas and add the new inventory to the electronic inventory systems software (MGF Pro) and tag items. Warehouseman February 2008 – July 2009 Daily duties consisted of picking Sales Orders and packing them for shipping, Upkeep of records, upkeep of inventory and stock control, and issuing parts to mechanics. I assembled special kits, operated a forklifts, and prepared reports. I coordinated with other departments to keep all informed of inventory and sales.
Helper February 2007 - January 2008 I worked in the Carpentry department building crates and transporting items weighing 65lbs to 1,000lbs. I've worked on the assembly line, assisting as a mechanic conducting flange replacements, motor instalments, and other various duties. , I've conducted pressure test, sand blasting and painting material. Occasionally assisted in stripping and mixing paint. I also assisted QC department by spark testing glass to metal material, acid corrosion testing, and dye checks on welds.
