The first job I had at this company was laborer, in this job I loaded
and
unloaded trucks,using fork lift. of flake, and
powdered chemical materials, to be brought by elevator, to the third
floor, after given detail of witch reactor to put pallets
of material at,I would also when told by supervisor witch reactor to
charge,after the temperature reaches
degrees , I would have to ware a face mask when charging because of
fumes coming from reactor
when finished charging I would take plastic, or sometime paper bags,that
held charging materials and
put them in a compressor, later when full I would have to take tied
bundles by elevator by fork lift to be put
in garbage container, I also when finished charing reactors, I would
close top hatch,and sweep area
clean,in this job I also cleaned Reactors of material build up over
time. after tested by the supervisor for air quality
I would be given a another laborer to watch me inside of tank, but
before
entering tank I would have to
put on a harness with a rope attached,this rope would be held by the
laborer in cast something went
wrong, he also had a hand held blow. That was used to signal other
workers
within an emergency
situation . If one accrued ! The second job at this company was as a
Utility person, in this job I was given a list of batches
at the beginning of my shift , to be transferred, by pump through a
press, through heat resistant and high
pressure hoes to outlets, using coupling, to assigned that that are
outside in an holding area, before pumping I would sometimes have to
measure the tank
to make sure that all the material that I was about to pump to that
tank
would fit, when finished pumping resin to tank I informed the
supervisor, and he would tell me
what type ,and how mush solvent to wash press out with, and then I would
close all lines, and hook up to
next tank to be pumped.and repeat same process as before ! The third
job
I had was as a tank wagon driver, in this job,
sometimes I had to load my own tanker, then deliver it to various
customers, sometime as far as West Virginia
offloading , by opening top hatch of tanker port, hooking up lines
carried on tanker, giving supervisor ar company delivered
the bill of lading. After check he would tell me what line to hook up to
and I would slowly start pumping with the truck
pump, band check for any leaks, if none I would open bypass to increase
flow, always while pumping I
would never leave area of pump . Just incase something went wrong !
When
finish I would be given solvent that I would wash out line to pump,and
all lines after
after pump, to the tank that I sent material, I would then return all
lines to the tanker, and or any couplings
close the top hatch, or hatches, then get signed bill of lading , do
logs and return to to company

I n this job I reported in at City Hall . This is where Water Accounting
was located I would tank electronic
water meter reading unit of charger,get my assignment from supervisor of
delinquent water bills, I would then
I went to my assigned van that carried tools that I used for cutting off
or cutting on water at residential, sometime
commercial properties, when arriving at stop, or unit I would check
outside
unit for damage, writing all info down of what ever occurred
at each stop,if owner was present i would have to collect / of the
delinquent water bill, if payment was to be made
I would tell owner that i would have to get an inside reading as well ,
also to check meter for damage,
or tampering , or if wires are properly connected,if no payment was made
I would inform the owner or
tenant, that's if the owner was not present, that I would have to turn
water of, until the owner went down to
City Hall to make a payment, while in my journey to other stop ,I would
sometimes be called by
supervisor,ounce payment was made, or there was a health hazard , I would
return to stop,as quick ass possible
and turn water back on,and continue on to other stop, and repeat process
over again !
