Worked across the agency with senior and executive leaders to build a network of department-level content contributors. Designed tool and implemented data collection process. Developed training module and facilitated training program for department contributors. Measured and tracked performance across the agency in alignment with strategic objectives. Authored quarterly status reports and annual summaries for the chief executive and the board of commissioners. - Change Management (DePaul University). Working under the direction of the Office of Institutional Diversity & Equity, initiated and executed a restructuring plan for the DePaul Women’s Network (DWN), a university employee resource group. Designed project plan in alignment with university values and strategic objectives (Vision ). Expanded DWN’s footprint, defined roles and areas of accountability, established clear reporting lines and implemented succession plans for senior and executive leadership, incorporated mentoring into standard DWN practice. Formalized the recruitment process, partnered with senior university leadership to identify qualified women candidates, both faculty and staff, yielding a % increase in membership after implementation and a projected, average increase of % for the next three recruitment cycles.
- Employee Outreach & Engagement (DePaul University). Right-sided derailed project and reinvigorated a disengaged team. Cultivated partners and sponsors from across the university community (colleges, centers, business units, administration) to increase affinity for and participation in university-sponsored employee resource groups (ERG). Established a quarterly roundtable for ERG leaders to share best practices and coordinate programming resulting in the planning and production of DePaul's inaugural Diversity Forum. Actively sought out additional funding sources and increased operating budget by %.
- Business Process Improvement (Chicago Housing Authority). Executed project to reduce change order requests for capital construction projects. Collaborated with key stakeholders from Capital Construction, Procurement, and the Office of the General Counsel to design a process for tracking vendor and sub-contractor change orders on capital construction projects. The project reduced the volume of change orders by % after the first six months of implementation.
