At Scattergood I spend three nights out of the week in the girl’s dorm. I also spend one weekend a month in the girl’s dorm. I work closely with the Dean of Students developing a residential life curriculum. I also teach four classes throughout the year: Journaling and Poetry Slam, Quakerism , Queer Studies, and Meat (a project based learning class exploring the use of Meat in our culture). I also help to cook lunch once a week for the school. I also started an LGBT group for LGBT students and their Allies. The student group is called M.I.G.S.
