Duties: Receive, check-in and dispose of Tandem Labs study samples according to established guidelines and SOPs.  Complete all appropriate paperwork in a timely fashion. Identify and document all discrepancies between client paperwork, Watson, and sample vials.  Notify Sample Management Lead &/or Project Team of the discrepancies. Use Watson to set-up shipments and receive shipment samples; can use Watson to edit subject ID information. Assign Tandem Labs custom IDs in Watson and prepare labels. Prepare sample disposition notifications. Monitor proper storage of samples, including appropriate location, temperature and condition of freezers, adequate back-up CO. Responsible for receipt, processing, storage and disposal of Tandem Labs study samples according to GLP guidelines and applicable SOPs and Tandem Labs guidelines.


Other duties: Help with washing the glasswares. Manage weekly lab inventory. Help with picking up and checking-in the ordered lab necessities. Help with pipette calibration. Maintain an up-to-date calibration schedule for all instruments in the lab and notify the supervisor about an upcoming due date. Weekly check the logbooks in the lab for all instruments used to make sure that they are in accordance with SOPs. Write deviation as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Duties: Conduct reviews of data tables for accuracy against Watson and for correct formatting, review sample receipt, solutions and QC sample preparation documentation, run folders and other laboratory documentation for accuracy and adherence to SOPs, GLP guidelines, and established laboratory policies as directed, identify and inform QC Auditor/Specialists of problems and errors, assist in pipette calibration checks as needed.

Skills:
