- Operates Production Metrology Tools ( SOPRA GES ELLIPSOMETER; SINTON LIFETIME TESTER; PROMETRIX Pt. Probe; PROFORMA WAFER THICKNESS READER )
- Ensures good quality output based on defined parameters and control on-time delivery of products.
- Ensures production downtimes are properly recorded and attended
- Perform minor tool set-up and machine adjustment.
- Take lead role in improvement programs like SPC, TPM and S
- Reports to manufacturing supervisor and observe line abnormalities, whether it is machine, process or material
- Escalate problem(s) encountered to manufacturing supervisor.
- Assist other engineers (process, maintenance, IE) during evaluations.
SPC (Statistical Process Control) Team Member (December – Present)
- Attend SPC meetings on time
- Votes on agreed rationalized facts and decisions
- Brings up problems to the meeting
- Promotes peer pressure for improvements
- Ensures team activities are coordinated to their peers
- Participates in team activities – is physically and mentally present
SPC Control Chart Administrator (March – Present)
- To review chart each week for identification of out of controls (OOC’s), trends, shifts, etc., investigate causes
- Show chart, OCAP’s and investigation data at weekly SPC meeting and process control chart meeting.
