MAIN PROJECT: Automated Augmentative Aid (Using microcontroller).
The Automated Augmentative Aid helps to serve this purpose by assisting the post operated and the cerebral palsy affected patients in taking care of their basic needs without the attender’s help .The Automated Augmentative Aid is a bed designed for those who are in need of the attender’s help almost every day around the clock. This bed has special switches which bring the basic requirements like food, water, medicine and toileting of the patient’s to their bedside. It also provides provision to alert the attender in case of any emergency. There are three sensors connected to the bed for measuring the patient body temperature, blood pressure and ECG. These measurements are transmitted to the attender’s room through wireless protocols.
