Participated in a week-long wetland design conference focused on community development to solve local wastewater problems. Worked with community members to create a preliminary design for a local university wetland wastewater treatment system.

Investigated the community’s natural resource needs and analyzed existing appropriate technologies. Made and experimented with adobe. Lectured on wastewater treatment, prepared activities, and facilitated micro-hydro generation activities.
