OBJECTIVE:
To use my typing and computer skills in a position that allows me to work from home, and to be a part of a company that is strong in their field, and growing.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
I worked for McGood Medical Transcription for about nine months. Most of the reports I typed were for the Community Hospital network and the Indiana Heart Hospital. I had to quit when McGood changed to software that was not compatible with dial-up. At the time, high-speed internet was not available in my area. I now have satellite internet.
EMPLOYMENT
to Present: I am a dispatcher for a family owned trucking company. My husband started this business last year after he lost his job at Chrysler. I work on a full-time basis dispatching, maintaining records, and doing the accounting for this company. Due to a downturn in the trucking industry and the high cost of fuel, we are closing our doors in August.
to Present: I am also an Independent Contract Closer. I conduct mortgage loan closings by gathering signatures on mortgage documents and notarizing them. I travel all over Indiana. I have several clients, Dana Title being the biggest. I am still working occasionally in the business, but like the trucking industry, the real estate industry is in a slump.

company started me on a per-line pay basis and I received a small raise about four months after I started. This was my first work-from-home job and I enjoyed it so much, I decided that I never want to work in an office building again.
