Provided administrative support to the Director of the Neonatology Fellowship Program. Duties included transcription, answering multi line phone, scheduling appointments, and handling logistics for meetings and various events. Served as liaison to the Department of Pediatrics and various campus units on behalf of the Neonatology Fellows. Duties included: payroll and benefits, the preparation of applications, monitoring of grants, maintained database and confidential files, Liaison on behalf of Program Director and Department Manager in their absence. Specific administrative duties for the department included: purchasing and inventorying of supplies and equipment, handling incoming and outgoing mail, preparing fed-ex pick up and delivery, key operator for copier and fax machines, contact person for all vendors, planning luncheons, retirement parties and birthday events, preparation of monthly Call Schedule and Journal Club for faculty, fellows, Department Chair and neonatal nurse practitioners; processing all travel vouchers and check requests; reconcile monthly ledgers, prepared paperwork for J and HB scholars, updated OLPPS for current fellow content.

Transcribed all surgical pathology reports, autopsies, and death certificates; trained employees for transcription duties, oriented new medical residents each year in the department. Served as liaison for surgical and autopsy formats at San Francisco General Hospital, prepared all materials for pulmonary, tumor boards, and gastroenterology conferences, prepared all quality assurance reports for attendants.
