Became a member of the General Dynamics team in through the acquisition of Veridian, supporting General Dynamics in strategic planning and new program pursuits, focusing on defense and intelligence community customers, as well as major primes such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Boeing. Joined Pacific Sierra Research (PSR), Corporation in April to establish and lead a formal business development and marketing organization, including developing legislative strategies to support business objectives and goals. In , Veridian acquired PSR (ERIM, MRJ and Trident). Member of Veridian executive reorganization leadership team developing recommendations for integration of newly acquired companies into multiple business units. Responsibilities were expanded to cover new business units.

Principal advisor to the Committee Chairman, Members and professional staff on Department of Defense, Department of Energy and the intelligence community budgets and policy matters related to developing high priority investment strategies for military services and special operations to protect and defend against the use of weapons of mass destruction; and review and provide recommendations on investment accounts for chemical/biological/radiological/nuclear programs, nonproliferation and counterproliferation programs, cooperative threat reduction programs, joint non-lethal weapons technologies, force protection and counterterrorism programs; and, international security policy matters related to command and control of U.S. forces participating in United Nations peace operations and NATO operations; international security implications of bilateral and multilateral arms control treaties.
Selected Achievements:
• Served as principal legislative/budget advisor and strategist to Chairman and Subcommittee Chairman for defense and intelligence counteproliferation/nonproliferation matters, counterterrorism and special operations, and international security policy associated with arms control treaties and use of military forces in United Nations and NATO operations. Formulated and drafted national and international security legislation in area of responsibility for Chairman.
• Drafted recommendations for legislation authorizing the use of Department of Defense assets to protect against the use of Weapons of Mass Destruction (homeland security); establishment of a Joint Service Chem/Bio Defense program; DoD Counterproliferation Support Program and DoD/FBI/Customs Service Counterproliferation Program, and Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Program.
• Served as the Chairman’s representative to the Bipartisan Leadership Group on Arms Control, NATO Enlargement and Export of Militarily Critical Technologies to China.
