L’Oreal USA : Managed the account for GolinHarris supervising media outreach for L’Oreal’s Women in Science program, its Diversity Program and its eStrat Challenge, working with national universities and media to gain visibility for the educational and support for women and minorities through its outstanding college competitions and support for female scientists worldwide. St. John\\\'s University, NY ()
AVP and Director of News and Information
For more than years, led the news bureau of one of the largest Catholic universities in the U.S., working with all colleges and divisions. Developed publicity and marketing plans. Handled crisis management with senior administrators, including the President, specifically during the Lacrosse incident where student-athletes were accused of sexual assault, in addition to other campus incidents that drew media attention citywide.
Coordinated Queens - People and Places contest, an exhibition that toured New York City and JFK and LaGuardia airports.
Worked with business, law, science, medical, education reporters, producers and editors to garner major publicity for the university, its programs and people. Lobbied at both city and state levels.
