PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND ACHIEVEMENTS
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST- Effectively managed the Environmental Compliance Program for Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department, a major industrial activity with over personnel and work centers.
• Environmental liaison for all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Interpreted and implemented all applicable standards within CFR , CFR ,
and CFR .
• Developed compliance and permitting policies, researching and preparing permit applications, participating in permit negotiations with regulators, and completing and submitting monitoring reports and correspondence to regulators, coordinating inspections and identifying and resolving compliance problems.
• Reviewed military construction and special projects and provided comments as necessary to insure that necessary provisions to meet applicable or potential environmental standards are included.

and work areas for violations. Corrected serious problems on-the-spot
or red tags the area and stops work until corrected. Wrote Safety
Discrepancy Reports (SDR's) for less immediate problems. Performed
detailed physical inspections of areas or machines based on employee
complaints, usually with an expert from trades’ management.
