Process of loans from beginning to end, which included, validation of all documentation provided by the borrower, income calculation for wager earned and self employed borrowers, qualify loans based documentation type prior to submitting them for underwriting approval, which included assets, Verifications of employments, Verification of Deposits, Title commitments, Appraisal reports, and any other requirement for the Loan Process. Submitting loans thru LP, DU and other automated systems, validation of fees on GFE and Compliance (RESPA). Obtaining conditions from all sources, review them and submit them in order to close the loan at a timely matter. Once the loans were closed my duties were to package out the loans and send the file to our corporate office. As a Jr. Underwriter I have the authority and experience of approving loans following National City guidelines based on income, assets, and credit history, issuing commitments, conditioning for necessary items, obtaining conditions from borrower and clearing files to close. My duties as a Processor also consisted in reviewing the loans to make sure that the loan qualified for the program that was submitted under; qualify the borrower based on Income, assets, and credit history, run DU and LP, and validating all document submitted by the borrower, including verification of employment, verification of rental or mortgage history, credit supplements, re-scores, submitting files for underwriting review, discuss guideline with loan officers to help them understand the guides and structure loans in order to get then approved under National City Guidelines. I also trained new mortgage processors as well.
