Therapeutic Behavior Services (TBS) Supervisor April to present

Promoted to oversee the clinical aspects of the TBS program. Work closely with San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area Counties to ensure that referrals made to the program adhered to stringent guidelines. Provide thorough assessments, well outlined and operational behavior plans to the client for intensive one to one service.
• Supervise TBS coaches in maintaining a program caseload of clients via group and individual

Aggression Replacement Training (ART) Supervisor August to present

Manage the start up of program through a grant funded by the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice in San Francisco in collaboration with the Youth Guidance Center (YGC). Program designed to assist Juvenile Offenders to learn Anger Control, Skill Acquisition, and Moral Reasoning via the utilization of the evidence-based practice of ART.
• Supervise Family Outreach Coaches in appropriate case management and program fidelity.
• Teach ART groups with youth ages - years and oversee the facilitation for the youth’s parent/legal

Mental Health Clinician (School and Community Based) December to present

Practice Child and Family Therapy using various treatment modalities (Systemic, Solution-Focused, Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Play/Expressive Arts, and Somatic). Provided coaching, one to one support, and education to severely emotionally disturbed (SED) children and adolescents to increase adaptive functioning, expand resources, and build communication. Facilitated awareness of client’s current self-regulatory strategies by describing the functional aspect of the behavior.
• Completed assessments and developed behavior plans designed to assist the client in learning pro-social
coping skills. In addition to identifying the systemic dynamics between the child and their environments in
order to treat behaviors that put the child at risk for hospitalization and/or out-of-home placements.

Worked closely with ten SED adolescent girls (- years old) in a residential treatment center. Provided a safe environment to build relationships and counsel emotional and behavioral dysfunction. Supervised daily functions (day treatment and recreation, morning and bedtime routines, mealtimes, weekend activities,). Trained for hours in the Values Program based on Trustworthiness, Fairness, Caring, Respect, Responsibility, Citizenship, and Learning.

Trained on the death, dying, and grieving process for both children and their families. Participated in healing process through a group dynamic from both a member and a facilitator perspective. Learned how to create a safe and supportive environment for exploring and experiencing strong emotions related to grief and fear of death.
• Co-facilitated week child grief support groups in order to process trauma related to the death of youth’s parent and/or relatives.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND RAPE PREVENTION PROGRAM (SHARPP) (Durham, NH)

Completed extensive -hour advocacy training on how to provide crisis intervention to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Staffed the -hour, days a week rape crisis line and counseled victims/survivors/allies.
