. Professional Experiences:
a. Subject Teacher in Chemistry in Sarupather Higher Secondary School , Sarupathar, Golaghat , Assam , from to .
b. Principal Investigator (WOS-A) of the project sanctioned by Department of Science and Technology[DST], New Delhi, India under the Women Scientist Scheme (WOS-A) for three years ( from st Sept.’ to th Sept.’).
. Research Experiences:
During the last five years, I was involved in the synthesis of c- amino alcohols, the key intermediate for the synthesis of carbohydrates, amino acids, alkaloids etc. and I worked on the ,-dipolar cycloaddition reactions of nitrones, azomethine ylides, nitrile imines with dipolarophiles like alkenes, conjugated and uncojugated imines etc.. Also, I was involved to carry out research on the dehydration of oximes and amides in anhydrous/hydrated media using alumunium reagents. Besides, I have experience in synthesizing rhodium complex using nitrones as donor ligands and well versed with the modern methods of analyses like NMR, IR and Mass etc. Now I am working as a Principal Investigator [PI] in the ongoing project (from st sept' to th sept'), sanctioned by DST, New Delhi, under the Women Scientist Scheme.
