Address in timely fashion concerns of community and act as liaison between tribal government and members. September 2005 to March 2007 Mille Lacs Reservation Onamia, MN Assistant Commissioner of Administration Responsible for day to day operation of tribal government administration division. Direct supervision of Information Systems staff, Human Resource Staff and Self Governance Staff members. June 1992-October 1994 Program Administrator District II Mille Lacs Reservation McGregor, MN Responsible for day to day activities at community center. Including supervision of staff, over-seeing utilities, coordinating events and other duties. February 1991 to June 1992 Youth Educator Mille Lacs Reservation Onamia, MN Traveled to the three districts of the reservation boundaries to educate tribal youth with prevention curriculum. Provided in school lessons, as well as facilitate safe and drug free events for youth and families. Note the following: I have been a professional server, worked as a direct care provider for physically and emotionally challenged individuals, and worked in other service type settings prior to my tenure at the Mille Lacs Reservation. Additional Experience Served on BIA school at Mille Lacs Reservation as a board member for 12 years. Nay Ah Shing school serves the children of the three districts of the reservation. Served on the ISD #4 McGregor Public School board for 2 terms as a director (board member) and as Recorder/Treasurer. This is a popularly elected office within my home town of McGregor. Foster Parent for the Mille Lacs Reservation for 14 consecutive years. License is current. Over the course of my tenure at the Mille Lacs Reservation, I have participated in and completed many professional development courses and have also recently completed Life Skills for Leadership Training.
