In this position for the Office of the Finance and Administration Group Manager, as a Senior Administrative Analyst (C) you will be providing broad administrative and analytical support to the Finance Group including analysis of budget reports and documents; assisting with cost modeling and other analyses in support of labor negotiations; coordinating and reviewing board letters and staff reports; administering finance contracts including purchase requisitions, releases, and contract extensions and amendments; acting as Finance single point of contact with other groups; tracking of HR recruitment process and annual evaluation submission; communicating with staff on the Group Manager’s behalf and coordinating logistics with meetings; providing support and assisting in the tracking of work projects; assisting with the development of verbal and written reports and presentations; preparing summaries of reports and documents for staff review; managing Group Manager’s calendar including preparation of meeting agenda and transcribing minutes; other administrative work includes coordinating bi-weekly timesheet entry and approval, arranging travel for the group as needed including booking flights, hotels, etc., preparing expense reports, and ordering supplies and equipment.
This classification performs work that requires maintaining confidentiality and is routinely privy to matters that either involves confidential information, sensitive personnel issues, or exposure to confidential and sensitive strategic corporate information.
Schedule: 9/80 Monday through Friday with every other Friday off

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience.
Relevant Experience is defined as: Research and analysis of financial data including budgets and financial statements; producing or coordinating and reviewing reports, letters, and contracts; administrative support; and/or coordinating with Human Resources in personnel matters.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
