As an Administrative Assistant II in the Capital Program Management (CPM) Unit’s Engineering Administration Team, you will provide administrative support to the Engineering Services Group.
In this role you will demonstrate your initiative and judgment in providing support on time-sensitive assignments in an evolving and high energy, team-based environment. Your primary responsibilities will include providing a wide range of support to management, board related meetings; training coordinator; processing a high volume of invoice payments.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or high school certificate of equivalency and five years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and three years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and one year of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Administrative Assistant I classification.
Relevant Experience is defined as administrative work, and a combination of experience with invoice payments and other purchasing related transactions.

License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
