As an Administrative Assistant I within the WSO Operations Support Services (OSS) Section Administrative Services team, you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative support to management and staff in a field office environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with processing purchase requisitions for construction or operations-related work, maintaining job files, meeting/event support, maintaining supplies, mail distribution, compiling information and preparing reports, and responding to immediate and time-sensitive requests and assignments.
In addition to exceptional customer service, your ability to succeed in this role depends on your attention to detail, teamwork, willingness to learn, time management, organizational skills, administrative skills, and ability to communicate and interact with others effectively. You may also assist and perform similar duties at the Weymouth facility in La Verne, California, when necessary.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate and four years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Relevant Experience is defined as: administrative work experience assisting in purchasing goods and/or services, assisting in preparing business documents and reports, maintaining databases, and record keeping.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
