As an Administrative Assistant I in the Treasury & Debt Management Section, you will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative support to management and professional staff within the Treasury & Debt Management Section of the Finance Group. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the administration of MWD’s property tax program, processing invoices, requisitions and releases.

In addition to exceptional customer service, your ability to be successful in this role is dependent on your attention to detail, teamwork, willingness to learn, time management, organizational skills, administrative skills, and ability to communicate and interact with others effectively.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate and four years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.

Relevant Experience is defined as: assisting in creating and maintaining databases.


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
