We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HRIS Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Metropolitan Water District and grow your career as a Senior HRIS Analyst!

The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent customer service skills, be a team player, and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate across departmental lines with IT developers, stakeholders, and various subject matter experts in order to implement changes and troubleshoot issues. To be successful in this position, you must have solid technical and functional skills in PeopleSoft, particularly in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, and/or Classification and Compensation.

This position is required to maintain accurate information and ensure data integrity in our HCM system. Provides recommendations on process improvements. Gather requirements, create documentation and resources for system implementations, changes, and issues. Collaborate and interact with IT developers, HR stakeholders, Payroll team on changes and issue resolution.

FUTURE PROJECTS. This position will participate in the implementation of PeopleSoft Time and Labor and Absence Management modules. Future plans also include implementing Onboarding, Fluid Position Data, Fluid Job Data, Life Events, Workforce Analysis, ePerformance, and other exciting modules.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience.


Relevant experience is defined as: Technical and functional experience/skills in PeopleSoft HCM


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s):
Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of
application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
